As regular viewers of my Instagram feed will know, I’m a big fan of breakfast. It’s definitely up there in my top three meals of the day anyway.

It’s known as the most important meal of the day, and I’m not one of those people who can ever skip it. Every morning when I wake up I feel like Hulk-smashing the living bejesus out of my alarm clock, and only start to feel vaguely human again after a shower and most crucially, a nice leisurely breakfast.

Thankfully, the breakfast range from gluten free flour and food brand FREEE makes starting your day with a delicious vegan, gluten free and organic breakfast as simple as one, two, FREEE.

The cereal range provides a range of other benefits too. I was sent a pack of each to try out, so let’s take a look at them.

Cereal Flakes

FREEE Cereal Flakes

High in fibre but low in fat, the Cereal Flakes are FREEE’s take on a breakfast classic. Made from a blend of rice and buckwheat, the flakes provide a bit more of a punch than the traditional corn-based variety.

I really enjoyed these, they were just a little bit different to anything I’ve tried before and it’s easy to see why they have won a Great Taste Award. Paired with fruit and yoghurt (I’m one of those weird people who doesn’t like milk on their cereal), they provide the perfect start to the day.

Fibre Flakes

As the name suggests, the Fibre Flakes are another high-fibre, low-fat option from FREEE. The deliciously crunchy flakes are made from brown rice, which creates another really interesting option.

One thing I’m trying to limit at the moment is my sugar intake, and these fit the bill with that in mind too, containing only 3.1g per serving. You really can’t go wrong!

Chocolate Stars

Offering a source of fibre, the Chocolate Stars threaten to steal the show in the FREEE breakfast range. They provide a delicious chocolatey hit to start your day, or even as a dessert if you’re anything like me and believe cereal can be enjoyed at any time of day!

They’re a fantastic option for any children with coeliac disease, with their astronomical themed packaging adding to the sense of fun. I only wish that these were available when I was younger, as I would have absolutely loved them as a kid!

Overall, I was really impressed with this range of cereal. It’s great to see FREEE offering some really interesting products that are quite different from anything else on the free from aisles, and most importantly of all they all taste great too.

You can order the FREEE by Doves Farm cereal range by visiting their website.
