Gluten free bread legends Genius have expanded their offering with a funky new range that’s tasty and #GoodForTheGut.
All products in the range contain chicory root inulin, a naturally occurring prebiotic fibre that contributes to normal gut function.
One serving of each product contains between one quarter and one sixth of the recommended daily intake of prebiotic fibre.
Overall I really love this new range. Genius have long been a favourite brand of mine as they were one of the first to bring gluten free bread to the supermarket shelves back in the day.
It’s great to see them branch out and develop new products, especially as they realise that a lot of coeliacs (myself included!) still suffer from digestive problems despite sticking to a gluten free diet.

Fibre Fest Beetroot Wraps
Look how fun and colourful these are! They have the texture of regular wraps with just a hint of beetroot flavour. They’re strong enough to absolutely pack them full of filling and make a brilliant alternative lunch option to the same old sarnie. Amazing stuff.
Fibre Fest Kale Wraps
The kale wraps may not look quite as vibrant, but they’re full of flavour and make a similarly good wrap, or they can even be used as a super-healthy pizza base! I really enjoyed the taste of these, you could almost taste the goodness.
Carb Cutter Bread Crisps
I’m reliably informed that these taste a bit like Ryvita, not that I’ve ever eaten them of course. They’re excellent for dipping or topping with cream cheese, chives, or whatever you want really. You could even chop them up and make little canapés if you feel super fancy and have lots of time on your hands.
Protein Punch Bread Crisps
These bread crisps are chock full of sesame and sunflower seeds giving them more protein than you can shake your proverbial stick at. I love these as an alternative to crackers.
Protein Punch Penne
You get two portions of pasta per pack and although it may not look like much in the box, it’s so filling that you really don’t need much! It’s packed full of protein and I served mine with a homemade veggie sauce to get plenty of goodness down me.
Fibre Fest Fusili
Made from chickpea flour, the fibre fest is similarly filling and delicious. Perfect for an easy meal, I’ll definitely be picking up more of this.
